Lake Shore Community & Chinese Delegation Make The World A Smaller Place

The distinguished Chinese Delegation departed Lake Shore on Thursday, October 8 in a tearful farewell gathering from LS Middle School.  This collaborative effort between the nine host families, administrators, faculty and staff  provided the 16 students and 2 adults with a truly American experience.  A deeper mutual respect, understanding and appreciation were fostered and developed during the seven day visit.  What is very remarkable though, is the realization that amidst our cultural and governmental differences, the similarities are striking in that as a community, we share the common goal of wanting the best for our students.  Enjoy the highlights of the visit in the movie below.

The Lake Shore High School Counseling Department will be holding a College Planning Night on Wednesday, October 21st  at 7pm. Two programs will take place: 

Parents of Seniors: High School Auditorium - Learn all about the college application process, deadlines, scholarships and more.

Parents of Juniors: High School Large Group Instruction Room - Learn about the SAT and ACT exams, college planning timeline, scholarship searches and more.

PowerSchool Parent Access & Parent Verification Forms

PowerSchool Parent Access for Middle and High School Parents:  Middle School and High School parents who would like to log into PowerSchool will find the PowerSchool Parent Access page listed in the site navigation bar under the Main Menu.   All parents of students in Grades 6-12 should have received a letter in the mail with their access information, as they were mailed out on September 25th.
