Highland will be honored this month when we receive
three grant awards to benefit our students!
*Cartoon Network selected Highland to receive $500 to
purchase equipment to promote the health and wellness of our students.
*Mr. Joe Bebak's application was selected from Lowe's
for a $2000 award for playground improvements.
*Mrs. Jennifer Philarom will be receiving $800 from Target
to support the fourth grade exploration of the Erie Canal.

Children expected to enter Kindergarten in the Lake Shore Central School District as of September 2010 should register between March 22 – 26, 2010. The school district will conduct Kindergarten Registration as outlined in the attached document: Kindergarten Registration 2010

Attention Lake Shore Central School District Residents
The Lake Shore Central School District is currently conducting a District-wide census to gather information to assist in predicting future student enrollment levels.
In the near future, a second census mailing will be sent to District residents who have not yet responded to the initial request. If you did not receive a form in the first mailing or did not respond to the form, please take a moment or two to complete the form – even if you do not have any children attending school in the District. You may complete the paper form and return it in the postage paid envelope that is provided for your convenience or you can save the District the cost of the return postage and enter your information online at the website address show on your form. (Note: You will need the security code printed on your form to submit your information online.) Entering the information online or on the form is easy, and only takes a few minutes.
The Lake Shore Central School District appreciates your help in completing this task, and providing us with the most complete and accurate information possible.
