The Lake Shore K-12 School Counseling Department was awarded the New York State Outstanding School Counseling Program by the New York State School Counselors Assocation (NYSSCA) at the state convention on Friday, October 23rd in Syracuse, New York.
School Counseling Department Chairperson, Steve Brown, High School Interim Principal, Chris Walsh, High School Counselor, Heather Boncore and Elementary School Counselors, Beth McCuen, Michelle Myles and Leslie Grimaldi attended the awards ceremony. In recieving this award the Lake Shore School Counseling Department competed against schools across New York State. Lake Shore Central School District is the first district in Western New York to be bestowed this honor.
Robert Rotunda, NYSSCA President announced that the Lake Shore Central School District's Comprehensive School Counseling Program is the state model for districts across New York State to follow. This claim is truly a reflection of the excellence of this district in serving the needs of the whole school community .

By splitting league matches over perennial powers, Starpoint and Sweet Home, the Lady Eagles capture the ECIC Division II Title. The team went 10-2 this year and had outstanding showings at the Cheektowaga, Sweet Home and North Tonawanda Tournaments. Paige Tilert made the all tournament team at the Cheektowaga Tournament and Jillian Reitz made the all tournament at the North Tonawanda Tournament.
Both the JV and Varsity Teams were recgonized at the North Tonawanda Dig for Cure Tournament for raising $525.00 for breast cancer research.
Please come out and support the Lady Eagles Wednesday, October 28 at 6pm in the Lake Shore High School Gymnasium for their first play off game. The Lady Eagles will take on the winner of Monday's match between the Hamburg Bulldogs and the Flames from Williamsville East.

PowerSchool Parent Access for Middle and High School Parents: Middle School and High School parents who would like to log into PowerSchool will find the PowerSchool Parent Access page listed in the site navigation bar under the Main Menu. All parents of students in Grades 6-12 should have received a letter in the mail with their access information, as they were mailed out on September 25th.
