- Yearbooks will be distributed following the moving up day ceremony on June 5th. If your child purchased a yearbook, make sure they get a ticket from Mr. Tomasik in the counseling center. No books will be given to students without an official yearbook ticket. If your child has not yet purchased a book, there are still a few available.
Seniors
- The $1,000 "GO GET IT" Scholarship is an exciting outside the box way for Lake Shore students to express their hopes and dreams. This scholarship is sponsidered by Lake Shore alumnus Heather Tilert.
- To win, you must answer the following questions in you "Go Get It" submission: 1) You must have a passion to pursue a dream/goal. 2) What is your "Go Get It?" Why do you want to achieve it so badly? 3) What steps do you need to take to "Go Get It?" 4) What are you worried about or what obstacles might you face in "Going For It?"
- The submission could be a podcast, a painting, a poem, an essay, a dance, a song, a book, a comic strip, a YouTube video, a website, a comedy routine...the list is endless.
- Your submission needs to be turned in to the counseling center by Wednesday morning, June 10th, 2009. See Mr. Brown in the counseling center if you have any questions.
