Food, Games, and Fun…Oh My!
The Seneca Nation of Indians Department of Education’s 4th annual Back to School Carnival will be held on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. All Tri-district (Gowanda, Lake Shore, & Silver Creek) students and their families in grades Kindergarten through 12th are invited to attend this fun-filled day. This year’s carnival will be held in the Saylor Building Parking lot and will include a variety of activities and games. The carnival is entirely free and will boast an impressive array of things to do. The day will include an obstacle course, bungee run, dunk tank, fun slide, bounce house, bean bag toss, face painting, and much, much more! There will also be a Chinese auction for those who participate in the event. Pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, Sno-Cones, popcorn, cotton candy and drinks will be provided while supplies last. You will be able to donate to the Native Success Scholarship for the opportunity to throw a pie at one of your teachers. You will also have a chance to enter a raffle for a brand new bicycle for a small fee if you so choose. Mark your calendars so that you don’t miss out on all the excitement!!!
