On Monday, March 15th high school students from the Lake Shore Central School District will present the first ever student recital. The student recital will feature twelve students on voice and various instruments.  Each of the student performers prepared a piece of classical solo literature in preparation for auditions into various advanced performing ensembles including Erie County All-County Ensembles, New York State Area All-State Ensembles, and even the New York State Conference All-State Band. These students will be performing their audition pieces in a formal recital setting. Included among the performers on Monday evening will be eight New York State Area All-State participants as well as New York State Conference All-State band member Kelsey Labbe. The Lake Shore High School student recital is a new addition to the activities of the Lake Shore High School Music Department. This evening of classical music is one of the many activities in the Lake Shore Central School District highlighting March as Music in Our Schools Month (MIOSM).
