The Chinese Delegation arrived at the Lake Shore Senior High School on Monday, September 29, 2008 while the band played the national anthems from both countries. On hand to greet the delegation were District Board of Education Members, District Administration, Faculty, students, and fourteen community host families.

The Lake Shore Central School District has entered into an exciting educational partnership with the Middle School affiliated with Jilin University located in Changchun, Jilin Province, China.
On Monday, September 29, 2008, 27 Chinese middle school students, their English teacher and principal will travel to the Lake Shore School Community and spend six (6) days with Fourteen (14) host families.
