Monday, 25 June 2007 |
On Tuesday, August 14th we will hold a Summer Reading Camp from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Students who complete their summer reading log are invited to return their log on August 14th and to do an activity with teachers and enjoy pizza with friends. Parents are asked to accompany their children to this event. Students who are unable to join us, should return their completed reading log to their teacher on the first day of school.
Our Kindergarten Visitation Day will be held on Thursday, August 30th at 10:00 AM. Our program will include a presentation, building and bus tour. Our program will conclude at 11:30 AM.

O'Sullivan Dance Academy Comes to A.J. |

On Friday, March 16th, the O'Sullivan Irish Dance Academy will be here to perform for our students.
The program begins Friday morning at 9:15 in the gymnasium at AJ. Current and former AJ students will be here to perform for their friends. All are welcome to attend; we hope you can join us!

Students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades will be taking the New York State Mathematics Assessment according to the following schedule:
Tuesday, March 6th: 3rd, 4th and 5th grade (Part One)
Wednesday, March 7th: 3rd, 4th and 5th grade (Part Two)
Thursday, March 8th: 4th grade students only (Part Three)
If you have any questions or are in need of additional information, please contact your child's teacher at 926-2350 or Mrs. Makowski at 926-2351.

Would you like to get a healthy start to your day? On Tuesday, January 2, 2007, a program called "Healthy Me, Healthy You" will begin. Students, faculty, staff and parents are invited to participate. We will be walking, jogging, and jumping rope. This program will be held every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 8:00 am in the AJ Schmidt gymnasium.
