BMX World Champion, Matt Wilhelm performs amazing bike stunts while educating students about bicycle safety, healthy living and becoming a champion.
This special presentation will be held on Monday, February 11th at 7:00 pm and is brought to Lake Shore as part of the Brant PTG spring fundraiser. Brant PTG and students are selling advanced tickets to the performance which will be held at the JTWaugh Elementary gymnasium to accommodate a larger audience. Tickets are $2.00 and can be purchased through the Brant PTG, a student attending Brant Elementary, or if seats are still available, at the door.

 Our Holiday Concert for Grades K, 1, & 2 will be on Thursday, Dec 6th at 7:00 pm in the Brant cafegymatorium. Students should report to their classrooms at 6:30 p.m. to prepare for the performance.
There will be a dress rehearsal at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning in the cafegymatorium. Family members who are unable to attend the evening performance are welcome to attend the dress rehearsal.
A reminder for all our visitors - please be sure to park in the rear of the building or in the designated parking spots, and not in the bus loading area by the front walkway.
Students in the new 4th & 5th grade Chorus will be performing during the school day at a later date this month. Once the arrangements have been finalized, this will be announced so that families can attend if they choose.
We look forward to seeing all the families at our special performances.

Mark your calendars!
LifeTouch Photography will be at Brant on Wednesday, Oct 17th.
Check your child's bookbag for the order form.
Don't delay - turn in the order form with payment right away.
LifeTouch requires that all orders (complete with payment) are in the Brant Main office before the photographers begin at 9:00 a.m. that day.

Bus Safety Lessons from the Lake Shore Transportation |

 Our Lake Shore bus drivers did a special training on Bus Safety for students at Brant Elementary on Thursday, Oct 11th. All students in every grade reviewed important procedures for boarding the bus, safe riding behaviors and exiting the bus normally or in an emergency. Please be sure to ask your child what they are supposed to do for each of these situations. Safety is all about knowing what to do to prevent problems.

October is Fire Safety Month. On Monday, Brant students will be learning fire safety tips from  our local fire departments.
Parents are encouraged to ask children what they learned from the assembly and how they would respond if there was a fire at home.
