The Highland Elementary Counseling Center has received information about a variety of programs for students during the Summer. Each is described and contact information is provided for your convenience.
Check out the following Summer 2009 Camps and Programs:
**C.A.O. Summer Camp - July 6th through August 14th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at 251 North Main Street in the Village of Angola. Seven special field trips including a trip to Darien Lake, a Buffalo Bisons Game, Niagara Falls Aquarium and Waldamer Water Park are in the $110 cost for the program. The fee also includes breakfast, lunch and a snack. Call 549-4180 for information and to register.
**Cradle Beach Camp - Offers five one week sessions from June 29th through August 22nd for children ages 8-16 with and without disabilities. This recreational camp located at 8038 Old Lakeshore Road in Angola provides education, training and leadership development Call 549-6307 ext. 205 to request an application.
**Therapals - Theraplay Groups for Children-Saturday Therapals Groups are forming for a six week summer program from July 11th through August 15th in the Hamburg area to help build social skills and self confidence. Contact Therapals at 472-8426.
**Social Skills Group- Specializing in Children and their Families - This five session program provides the opportunity to learn and practice positive social skills. The program will tale place at Alternate Roots at 162 Main Street in the Village of Hamburg. For more information call 276-1039.
