About our school
|
HOURS -
Our school hours for all students are 8:35 AM to 3:15 PM daily. Your child's presence at school is essential to your child's ability to be successful. Please help your child by making sure they are in school every day.
Our office hours (start of school through end of June) are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Summer office hours are 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM daily
ABSENCES
/ TRANSPORTATION - Parents must send in a written note to the office
for absences, transportation requests or other special needs.
PARENT PICK-UP - For bus safety reasons, we ask those who are picking up students at dismissal time to park in the back and enter by the gym. Thank you for your contribution to bus safety.
VISITORS - We welcome visitors to our school. Our visitor
pass/ID program requires that upon entering the building, you report to
the main office to sign in and obtain a visitor’s pass.

NEW YORK STATE REPORT CARD -
The New York State School/District Report Card is an important part of
the Board of Regents effort to raise learning standards for all
students. It is designed to provide information to the public on
student performance on State tests and other measures of school and
district performance. While this is not the only measure with which to
evaluate school performance, knowledge gained from the report card on a
school/district’s strengths and weaknesses can be used to plan
professional development, improve curriculum, and allocate resources.
