The Boys Modified Soccer team suffered a difficult defeat at the hands of the Iroquois Chiefs yesterday 5-3 in Overtime. A few defensive breakdowns led to the Chiefs scoring a goal in each overtime session as Lake Shore pushed up in order to try to get the win. Eagle goals were scored by Sam Eggleston(2) and Gabe Carruth(1) with his first goal of the season. Bryce Parker-Norton played extremely well in net making a few saves that seemed humanly impossible. Shawn Duffy played well all over the field, especially on offense, putting pressure on the Iroquois defenders. Wade Bergum had a monster game in the midfield, involving himself in every goal, assisting on each. Jacob Cozzo played his best game of the season by far, playing very aggressive in the second half of the game and keeping pressure on Iroquois. The boys will look to rebound in the cold on Friday, at home against West Seneca East at 4:45. Hope to see you there.
