Lake Shore Boys Volleyball Upsets No. 1 Team in WNY |

Last night the Boys Varsity volleyball team defeated No.1 ranked Hamburg with scores of 25-23, 24-26, 25-18, 25-19. The team played hard and consistent the whole night making big plays during critical moments to keep the pressure on the Bulldogs. Sean Bellomo tallied 12 kills and 11 blocks, Nick McDonagh had 44 assists to go along with his 7 kills and 22 digs. Other contributors to the win were Brett Farrell(6 kills,12 digs) Kyle Benzing(9 kills,8 blocks)Erik Marx and Chad Connors both added 6 kills apiece. This concludes the regular season for the team who finished with a league record of 10-2 and an overall record of 12-4. The team is seeded 2nd for sectional play and will host Lew. Port on Tuesday Nov. 3 at 6:00.
