June,  2006

Dear Parents/Guardian:

It  is  hard to believe,  but  our school year  will  be drawing to a close.     I  would like to thank everyone for all of your support and  interest in our school this year.    It has been a very productive and enjoyable year.    We have great students,  parents,  and  staff members at our school.

I have enjoyed my three years here at  Highland.   As many of you know I will be retiring at the end of the school year completing 36 years in public education:   26 years in Orchard Park and  10 years here at  Lake Shore.    I  would like to thank all of our parents for their interest in  Highland,  their support of  our programs and staff and for their cooperation and participation throughout these years.     The students at  Highland are # 1  in the district.      I wish them all the best.
