Swimmers Break Records at Sectionals |

The Boys Varsity Swimming and Diving Team had a record breaking day at the first day of Section 6 Championships last night. Brett Farrell, Kyle Benzing, Chad Connors and Joey Juszkiewicz broke a 15 year old record in the 200 freestyle relay. The previous mark was a 1:32.51 set back in the mid nineties, it now stands at a 1:32.05. Kyle Mancuso added to the magic of the night by bettering his mark in the 200 medley relay that was finished off with Luke Maslach touching out seven other swimmers and winning the heat. Lake Shore will be represented in the finals later on today in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays, the 50 freestyle, the 100 breaststroke and diving.
