Mission Statement
Lake Shore Central School District prepares all students to become succesful life-long learners who contribute to a diverse global socieity. 

1. By June 30, 2011, 90% of all students will achieve proficiency (level 3 or 4) on the New York State Assessments for grades 3 through 12.
2. By June 30, 2010, the District will maintain an efficient communications process that is organized, consistent, timely, and informative, focusing on students and families.
3. By June 30, 2010, the Board of Education will demonstrate fiscal responsibility by examining current programs, practices and facilities and their use by completing two (2) formal program evaluations, and will base budget decisions on the results of these evaluations and emerging needs.
4. By June 30, 2010, the graduation rate will be 85% and increase each subsequent year until it reaches 100% in 2017.
