To our parents of 5^th grade students I wish to draw your attention to the Project KNOW Parent Information Night scheduled for March 7, 2007. The meeting will be held in the J.T. Waugh auditorium beginning at 7:00 pm. Project Know is a program dealing with human sexuality, and this evening gives you an opportunity to learn about the program and to decide if it is right for your child. Project KNOW is scheduled to be in your child's classroom beginning on March 12^th, 2007. If you cannot attend the March 7^th meeting, please feel free to call me and I will discuss this program with you.

We are midway through the second trimester and that means that report card conference days are on the horizon. In the very near future, you will be hearing from your child's teacher to schedule a conference during the afternoon of March 22^nd or 23^rd. During this conference, your child's teacher will review his/her report card and you will leave the conference with a greater understanding of the progress your child has made in meeting the New York State Learning Standards. I wish to thank you in advance for making arrangements to schedule this important conference.
