All Students -

Looking for a summer job?  "Evangola State Park is currently accepting applications for the Evangola Eatery, an original 50's Dinner on the lake in Evangola. Applications for the Eatery and other summer jobs in the park are available weekdays from 7am to 3pm at the Maintenance Center located on Shaw Road in Evangola State Park. SCAVENGER HUNT!!! - The display case outside the guidance office is filled with college t-shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles, clocks, and other cool college stuff.  To win these great prizes all students have to do is complete a career/college scavenger hunt form and drop it off in the career center by April 27th at 3:00!  

April is College and Career month across the district.  All schools within the district will be promoting college and careers. Our main hallway has been decorated according to the 16 career clusters as well as with college posters, banners and the career words of wisdom provided by parents.  The 10th and 11th grade students can now pick up their GPA verification forms from the counseling center.  The GPA verification form allows students to learn their GPA, see what is on their transcripts, and bring any errors to the attention of the counseling staff.  During lunches the following career videos will be shown:
 16th - Careers in Broadcasting
 17th - Careers in Health Careers
18th - Careers in Electronic Industry
 19th - Careers in Plastic Industry
 20th- Careers in Architecture
23rd- Careers in Engineering
24th - Careers in Transportation
25th - Careers in Automotives
26th - Careers in  News Paper Publishing
27th - Careers in Food Industry

Students with Disabilities -
Applications are available in the H.S. Counseling Center for the Erie County Summer Youth Employment and Training Program.  Students 14-21 years of age that are disabled and/or economically disadvantaged (free/reduced lunch) will be interviewed.  Representatives from the Summer Youth Program will be conducting interviews on Friday, April 27th.

Sophomores -   On April 20th  College admissions representatives from U.B., Fredonia, Canisius, Buffalo State, and E.C.C. will discuss with the sophomores what they, as representatives, are looking for in prospective students and explain how the college admissions process works and what students can do now to increase their chances of being accepted by the college of their choice.

Juniors -
There will be a college planning night - workshop for 11th grade students and their parents on Wednesday, April 25th at 7:00p.m. in the High School Auditorium.  If your child is planning on attending college, you and your child should attend this workshop.

Seniors -
IMPORTANT!!! Effective March 1, 2007 all ECC applications must apply on-line at www.ecc.edu.
