Freshmen & Sophomores -
Q: If a child fails a couple of classes, what determines which grade they are placed in next year?
A: To be considered a Sophomore, a student must have at least 4 credits and three of those credits must be in English, social studies, math or science. To be a Junior, a student needs 10 credits, of which 3 must be in English, or social studies. See http://images.businessweek.com/ss/07/01/0130_lifeafter_sports/index_01.htm for an interesting slideshow of what some athletes decided to do after retirement.
