To better meet the needs of elementary special education students, self-contained classes will be centrally located at the J. T. Waugh Elementary and W. T. Hoag Elementary Schools. Blended classes will be at the A. J. Schmidt Elementary and Highland Elementary Schools. At the secondary level, the focus will be on assisting students as they transition to post-high school activities. CSE meetings will be held at the building the student attends. Parents will continue to be included in planning for their child. We are looking for parents to volunteer to serve as Parent Members at CSE meetings. If you are interested, please call the Office of Special Programst at 926-2230 for more information. Training will be provided.
