Girls Modified Basketball Update |

On Friday, the girls modified basketball team lost a tough game to a strong Cheektowaga team 22-26. Lauren Gotsch led all scorers with 8 points overall. Jessica Ludwig led the way rebounding with eight overall. The fifth quarter was dominated by the Lady Eagles winning 16-4.
On Monday, the Lady Eagles bounced back with a huge win over Amherst. After a close first quarter, the lady Eagles led by 7, but pulled away quickly at the start of the second and finished the game winning 52-18. Scoring was led by Jessica Ludwig and Brooke Walker with 8 points each, with both girls pulling down 7 rebounds a piece as well. Mackenzie Ciciera had six points, while Frankie Harris, Josilyn Benton, and Marissa Haring all chipped in with four points a piece. Miranda Aikin, six steals, and Emma O'Connor, four steals, were stellar on the defensive side of the ball.
