Our
Character Education Theme for February is Honesty

Parents
On
February 15th the extremely popular Earth Spirit program returns to our
school. This full day event is filled
with exciting learning experiences that feature live animal presentations,
hands on nature experiences, snowshoeing and the construction of a snow shelter
called a quinzhee. This is an exciting
day for our students, and parents are welcome to attend. We hope to see you on the 15th.
We are midway through the second trimester and that means that
report card conference days are on the horizon. In the very near future,
you will be hearing from your child's teacher to schedule a conference during
the afternoon of March 27th or 28th. During
this conference, your child's teacher will review his/her report card and you
will leave the conference with a greater understanding of the progress your
child has made in meeting the New York State Learning Standards. I wish
to thank you in advance for making arrangements to schedule this important
conference.
