The Character Education Theme for March is Trustworthiness

The weekly quotations are:

Week 1:   To be a person one can trust must be one of the most important goals                                you have in life.

Week 2:   A trustworthy person will find that they have many friends.

Week 3:   A person that learns to trust oneself, learns to trust others as well.

Week 4:   Have you proven to be a trustworthy person this month?

Parents

Our Parent/Teacher conferences to discuss 2nd trimester report cards for your child will be held during the afternoon of March 25th   and 26th.    Students will be dismissed at 12:00 noon on both days to allow for these conferences.  If you have not already been scheduled for a conference, you will be hearing from your child’s teacher shortly to schedule this appointment.  

Kindergarten registration for new students will be taking place during the week of March 22-26, 2010.  If you or someone you know has a child that will be entering kindergarten in September, the child can be registered anytime during the aforementioned week.  If you would like a registration packet mailed to your address you may do so by phoning Mrs. Labenski in the school office at 926-2370.  

There will also be a Parent/Guardian Information Night held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Middle School.  The program will run from 6:00 pm until 8:00pm.  During this event parents who have registered their children will have an opportunity to hear from various school personnel including the principal, the nurse, the transportation supervisor, and the school counselor.    

World Class BMX cyclist, Matt Wilhelm, will be demonstrating his outstanding skills on March 29th.  Please consider attending this PTG fun night beginning at 7:00 pm in our gymnasium.
