On Thursday, April 24th, the Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Team improved their record to 6-0 defeating West Seneca West by a score of 14-2.  This was, by far, the best game of the season for the girls as of yet.  The girls were unstoppable offensively and did not let down defensively.  Every player contributed to the win.  Ashley Garrasi played an excellent game in goal making 12 saves and was supported by the defense led by Emily Lemmo, Rachel Catalano, Katie Bacho, Destiny Sampson and Amanda Thiel. Our attack maintained possesion of the ball and transitioned well between offense and defense dominating play in both halves.  Lindsay John led the scoring with 4 goals.  Lauren Scanlan, Brittany Mazzu and Kelsey McKeown each had 3 and Shleby Will put in 1.  The assists were made by Kelsey McKeown with 4, Lindsay John, Lauren Scanlan and Brittany Mazzu with 1 each.  The rest of the attack who supported this goal scoring effort included Rose Russo, Cat McCulle, Brooke Gadomski, Linsey Heferle, Jessica Tunis and Tahlia Williams.  The girls hope to continue their strong effort in the next game against Hamburg on Saturday at 10:00 at J.T. Waugh.  Please continue to come and support the girls as they look to improve their record and remain undefeated.  Go Lady Eagles!!!
