The Girls J.V. Soccer Team continued showing improvement and defeated West Seneca East 3-1 on Monday, September 29th.  Earlier in the season when the two teams met for the first time, East was able to defeat the Eagles. The girls have worked so hard as the season has progressed and have shown a lot of heart and growth in each of the games that they have played.  Lake Shore dominated the play of the game against East.  They maintained possession of the ball and focused on attacking offensively.  Frankie Harris was fantastic in net once again, only letting in one goal in the final minutes of the game.  She made many great saves to help the girls stay in the game.  The defenders were tough.  They took control of the opponent's offensive play and quickly transitioned the ball back to Lake Shore teammates.  The defenders were Kelsey Mawk, Megan Linsmair, Kristin Bates, Liz Pickard. and Janine Goodwin.  The midfielders made so many great long crosses and showed great endurance.  They included Nicole Latimore, Hayley Hammer, Halie Jost, Summer Weinheimer. Chantelle Mikolajczak and Angela Tunis.  The forwards pressured East's goalie with many great shots.  They were Laura Atkinson, Sarah Smith, Michelle Chaplin, Destiny Sampson, Erin Vogl and Diana Wylie.  Lake Shore's goals were scored by Laura Atkinson, Hayley Hammer and Nicole Latimore all because of hard work and persistence.  The girls do not have another scheduled game again until next Monday and look forward to a week of hard work at practice to prepare.  Go Lady Eagles!!!

The Boy's Varsity Volleyball team defeated Williamsville East last night with a score of 25-20, 25-12, 25-23.
