Welcome to Mr. Gerken's Web Site. This semester I teach Business Law, Internet/Web Design, Keyboarding & Communication, and Practical Law.

I am also the Boys Varsity Basketball coach and a proud graduate of Lake Shore - Class of 1980. I hold my Bachelor's Degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology, with my Teaching Certification obtained at Daemen College and my Master's Degree in Educational Computing from Buffalo State College.

One of the focuses of both Superintendent Rabey and our Senior High Principal Mr. Christopher Walsh, is to improve communication throughout out entire school community. If I have your child in class, you will be receiving periodic e-mails from me regarding curriculum, projects, and class issues and events. If you are the parent of one of my students and are not receiving these (and would like to) please shoot me an e-mail so I may add your address to the list!
